R&D department of Luye pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was first established in June 1997, which devotes to the new products research and development. Throughout several years of hard work, the department is now beginning to take shape. It is one of the most advanced R&D centers among similar sized firms in China, and it can meet the demands of developing GMP standardized new products. It is well equipped with advanced facilities & equipment, which enables the R&D department to carry out in-house all aspects of pre-clinical evaluation including pharmaceutical & pharmacology research & drug safety evaluation and clinical trials.

With the well capability of research, the R&D center was authorized by State Personnel Ministry to establish postdoctoral research center in 1999 and by science commission to set up natural medicine technological center in March 2000, which is the unique one at provincial level.
